For Valentine's day, I snagged Meg and I VIP tickets to Drew and Ellie Holcomb.
I've lost track of how many times we've seen them play, but it's one of our favorite folks to see live so I couldn't pass up the chance to see them at The New Barn.
We dropped the littles at the grand parents and headed up this morning.
Snagged lunch in Somerset
Then we drove over to Stanford Kentucky. Decided to stay at the Standford Inn
Our room is adorable. Included a handwritten note and homemade soaps and such
The common areas are just amazing
We did some shopping at the soap shop next door
Then we headed back to Renfro Valley for our early VIP experience and acoustic pre-show
Then we piddled for a bit before the main show, which was amazing.
Then they surprised everyone at the end with a recording of the show
A day for the books.
Now time to catch some Zzzs
